Helen Stephens started her career in the NHS where she worked for 6 years before obtaining a Masters Degree in IT and Management and becoming a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse specialising in Health Care Services and Computer Security. She joined Orange in 1996 as an IT Security specialist moving into several other departments during her time with the rapidly growing telecoms company. In 2003 she completed an MBA at Bath University and undertook addition management study at Kellogg University in Chicago in 2012. In 2008 she joined FROM YOU TO ME where her logical thinking and creative flair saw her quickly take on the design and production of books and journals.

Helen is responsible for all the design and production aspects of the business. From signing new authors and illustrators, to coming up with ideas and new products for the team to bring to market. She works with creatives and printers from all over the world and has done bespoke books and journals for leading UK brands.

Helen loves new concepts and challenges, she’s as happy getting down with the detail as she is making strategic decisions. Her journals include Bump To Birthday, This Is Me and Wonderful Days are published by JOURNALS OF A LIFETIME and imprint of FROM YOU TO ME and her books Mum To Mum Pass It On and My Wish For Christmas are published by FORGET ME NOT BOOKS an imprint of JOURNALS OF A LIFETIME. She loves to see people try new things and will guide them to achieve their goals.

In 2014 Helen was awarded the Gold Medal at the global IPPY Awards in the USA for her journal Bump To Birthday which has been a global success. She has recently started writing children’s picture books and working with third parties to bring gorgeous baby packages to new parents. In 2007 she cycled, on a mountain bike, from London to Paris to raise much needed funds for Action Medical Research.

Helen has chaired her Village Hall Committee, the PTA at the local primary school and is currently the Secretary at the town’s Swimming Club.
